Membership information
Become a member of our Historic Royal Palaces family and enjoy free and unlimited entry to all palaces. By joining the membership scheme, not only will you be able to avoid the ticket queues at the five palaces, you will also save money at all of Historic Royal Palaces' retail and catering outlets. In addition, you will also help to save these magnificent palaces for generations to come.

Ticket upgrades and payment
Remember, if you have already visited us you can get your money back! Join as a member using your admission ticket(s) and we will use them to upgrade you to membership. Please note that we’re unable to upgrade admission tickets to a membership online, and payment online is by credit or debit card only. To upgrade palace admission tickets and/or pay by direct debit please apply for membership by post, at one of the palaces or by telephone (+44) 0844 482 7788.

We will post your permanent card and membership pack within 28 days. If you however plan to visit one of the palaces before you receive your permanent card, your booking confirmation email will give you full access to all five palaces. Just bring your confirmation email with you, along with the credit/debit card used to purchase your membership, and we will give you a temporary membership card that is valid for one month.

Gift Membership
You can purchase a gift membership online, just follow the steps to buy a membership and at the end of the process you will be asked if you would like to gift the membership. Follow the gift membership link and add the gift recipients details.

Membership cannot be resold, exchanged or refunded.
